On the subject of Fusion Cuisine…

I’m not afraid to say it. I have a mommy-and-me date tonight. With my siblings off at camp, I have, once again, become the only child. It’s empowering. Anyways I want to show my mom this new restaurant called Bistro Dragon which features a wide variety of Japanese/Chinese fusion foods. Okay, I didn’t go to culinary school but I’m pretty sure Japanese and Chinese food are the same. I mean it all looks the same!!! The food I mean… the food. Anyways fusion cooking is pretty self-explanatory: It combines 2 different cuisines in order to create the best possible taste. Something which I am very much in favor of. I actually think that there is a potential for a fusion cuisine movement. I mean, think about what it represents: breaking down geographic, political, religious, Idon’tknow kind of borders in order to put the best food out on the table. If you have the opportunity to try fusion cuisine, I highly recommend that you do. It’s for the betterment of mankind, you understand.

I’ll be feeding you seconds in no time~
